現地12月7日に開催される「The Game Awards 2017」のノミネート作品が公開。

GOTY候補には勢いに乗るSwitchから「ゼルダBotW」「マリオオデッセイ」、マルチが話題の「PUBG」、アトラスの「ペルソナ5」、ゲリラ「ホライゾン」がノミネート。
各賞でも2017年で活躍した名作が選考に上げられています。

今年は日本タイトルも輝いた年で仁王やFF15、ニーア、バイオ7なども対象になっています。
またアクションRPGが豊作の年でもありました。
任天堂タイトルは携帯機とファミリー部門を席巻、GOTY候補にも2作品とSwitch発売で権威を取り戻しています。
中国作品賞の部門が追加されるなど中国資本が入っているのも印象的です。

来年の期待作にPS4独占が3作あると言う事でゲハでは話題になっている模様。
